 This is a great option for mounting lights to Pump action shotguns. It does away with the old solotution of mounting the light to a clamp on a magazine where access was limited to a pigtail cord which could snag on items.

 It allows you to use a pistol light such as the Streamlight TLR-1 which is an excellent choice with this setup.
