The full lenght rail allows the mounting of optics, sights and other accessories that the operator may need. The  magazine allows for a solid mount and provides a QD cup for quickly attatching a sling. The shrouded design adds rigidity to the design and helps reduce the chances of getting ahold of a hot barrel during extended strings of fire.
